Call to Order: 7:04 p.m.  Steve Leaky, President of Alden Bridge Village Assoc., called the joint meeting to order.

Law Enforcement Report: Deputy Jason Hopper gave a crime prevention report. In 2016, there were 434 burglaries of motor vehicles in The Woodlands. The Village of Indian Springs had 22 burglaries of motor vehicle in 2016, 64% locked and 36% unlocked.  The biggest area of concern is the shopping center with 24 Hour Fitness. Deputy Hopper suggests taking all of your property out of the car, lock the vehicle and park your vehicle in a garage when possible.

Ken Schumann has made a request with the law enforcement to address the issues at 24 Hour Fitness.

Parks and Recreation Department, Chris Nunes:

Capital Improvement projects in Indian Springs: Forest Gate pool is being resurfaced this year.

YMCA Creekside is being purchased to serve as another recreation center. The 1,800 acre nature preserve will be utilized. The Township has rights to a recreational trail easement on the south side and will build trails in the area. (The north side of the George Mitchell Preserve is maintained/operated by the Montgomery Co. Precinct 4. Montgomery Co. has the recreational trail easement on the north side, not the Township.)

Bear Branch Park master plan is being presented in March. A 50-meter pool will be built.

Northshore Park renovation is in process.

Gosling Sports Fields is almost complete.

Chris reminded us to use the 311 App to let the Parks and Rec Dept know about issues in the neighborhood.

The Township has begun to clear out the reserve between The Woodlands and Del Webb. They plan to do some reforestation.

At 8:05pm, the joint meeting concluded and the Indian Springs Village Assoc. reconvened separately.
